One has many opportunities to travel
while stationed in Germany. Some of the places you will see are
Garmish, Berlin, Luxembourg (Military Cemetery) and
France.
Garmish - Was used a a Military Recreation
Area. Here was located the Green Arrow Inn - Gateway to the
Zugspitze Mountain Ski Area. From up on top, one could see into
Switzerland, Italy, France. The MATTERHORN was visible on a good
day.
