deployed to Iraq January 2007.

RED,
WHITE, AND BLUE
Stars on blue,
stripes red and white,
Our
U.S. flag is an awesome
sight.
It’s flown at
places all over the earth,
A symbol of
pride ever since it’s birth.
It’s flown for
freedom, peace, and respect,
And should not
be mistreated or shown neglect.
It stands for a
country united and true,
And for military
hero’s who died for us too.
It’s been
stepped on, belittled, burned, and destroyed,
Just anything
possible to get patriots annoyed.
The Pledge of
Allegiance was taken from schools,
But One Nation
Under God should still be our rule.
It serves as a
guide for all our armed forces,
Right back to
the day when our Army rode horses.
Its history is
long, it’s story we’re taught,
Of how it flew
in every battle we’ve fought.
As a Veteran and
Scoutmaster I promise to,
Teach Pride and
Respect for The Red, White, and Blue!
