A Little History Up Date: Sincerely A.J.Sassi TSGT Ret

I have few corrections about the Air Police at WAB.I served at the base from 46-52.When I first got there,we were part of Hq Sq 501st ABG,during the Berlin Airlift we became the 60th AP Sq,when I left Jan 52 we were the 7150th AP Sq.We were responsible for the base and some of the towns like Erbenheim,Bierstadt,Nordenstadt,Igstadt etc.The 517th were responsible for Wiesbaden and the territory From the Rhein to the British zone, when the came to the base on business they had to report to us at the Main gate.By the way,my next duties they also took me to F.E.Warren,first as a train rider then in the 3450th Air Police Sq for 4 yrs.
